Bar & Bench, India's premier legal news portal, is looking to hire court reporters, corporate reporters, desk correspondents, and social media managers from across the country.

Job description

Court Reporter - Will be expected to report news and cover judgments (for both physical and virtual hearings) from courts and tribunals in:

  • Delhi

  • Bengaluru

  • Mumbai

  • Kolkata

  • Madras

Corporate/Business Reporter - Will be expected to report news and orders from NCLT and NCLAT; report on deals in the corporate world.

Desk Editor/Correspondent - Will be expected to cover cases from courts across the country, and write and edit articles on a wide range of subjects including litigation, legislation, policy, corporate and in-house news, and legal education.

Social Media Manager - Will be expected to post our stories on Twitter, Facebook etc, make graphics for social media sites.

Requirements

Candidates must have excellent written and spoken command over the English language, have good inter-personal skills, and possess adequate knowledge of law.

For the position of court reporter, law graduates and persons with prior court reporting experience will be given preference.
