Call for Advocates: iProbono is looking for lawyers to represent survivors of child sexual abuse

In March 2015, iProbono constituted a panel of practicing lawyers from the Supreme Court and Delhi High Court to provide legal representation to survivors of child sexual abuse. In the past two years, the analysis shows the following:

This year, iProbono is looking to constitute a panel of motivated lawyers who are willing to do pro bono* legal work and help secure justice for survivors of child sexual abuse from low-income backgrounds.

Preference will be given to lawyers who have experience in handling criminal matters or public law matters or sexual abuse matters.

At present, they are looking for lawyers who can represent children before the Hon’ble Delhi High Court.

The panel shall consist of 15 advocates with experience of over 5 years in drafting, filing and appearing before the High Court. Of these 15 advocates, we are seeking to empanel at least 7 advocates with over 15 years of experience.
