An international conference on 'Global Convergence: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Law and Contemporary Challenges' is being hosted by the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka, from September 13 to September 14, 2025.
The collaborative effort is organized by the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka; the Kerala Law Academy (KLA), India; the Centre for Advanced Legal Studies and Research (CALSAR), India; and the Global Research Conference Forum (GRCF), India.
The event will be held in a hybrid mode, while the physical venue for the Conference is at the Faculty of Law, University of Colombo, Sri Lanka.
The Conference will be a platform for regional legal dialogue, capacity building, and scholarly exchange.
Theme: Exploring contemporary global legal challenges through an interdisciplinary lens, including environmental sustainability, digital disruption, human rights, governance, and economic law.
Participants: Jurists, academics, policy professionals, and students from across South Asia and beyond.
Call for Papers: Open until June 7, 2025, for abstracts; full paper submissions encouraged post-conference for publication opportunities in Scopus/ UGC-CARE listed journals, the Academy Law Review (India), and conference proceedings with ISBN/ISSN identifiers.
