#RecTracker: JGLS 2019 batch lands 23 jobs as of Day Zero

Twenty-three students of the 2019 batch of Jindal Global Law School (JGLS) have secured jobs at various law firms.

Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas was the biggest recruiter, hiring eight students, inclusive of two pre-placement offers (PPOs). Trilegal made four hires, while AZB & Partners and Luthra & Luthra made three hires each.

Economic Laws Practice (ELP) hired two students and offered assessment internships to two others. Pathak & Associates made two hires through PPOs, while Argus Partners hired one student of the 2019 batch.

Apart from these hires, two students have been selected for the JD programme at Cornell University.

As regards the 2018 batch, a press release states that Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas, Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, AZB & Partners, Nishith Desai Associates, Economic Laws Practice, Trilegal, Khaitan & Co., J. Sagar Associates, Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan, Karanjawala & Co., and many other Indian firms have recruited JGLS graduates this year. Herbert Smith Freehills has also offered a training contract to one of the students of the graduating batch.

Many students of the 2018 batch also secured admission in various international universities like Cambridge University, London School of Economics, University College London, Oxford University, Kings College, London and Stanford Law School, among others.
