NALSAR to host Conference on Courts and the Constitution - 2019 in Review [January 25-26]

The central objective of the conference is to review the developments in the field of Indian Constitutional Law during the year 2019.

The NALSAR University of Law will be hosting 'The Courts and the Constitution - 2019 in Review' Conference on January 25-26, 2020.

The event is being organised by 'Law and Other Things' Blog in collaboration with the 'Centre for Constitutional Law, Policy & Good Governance', NALSAR and the School for Policy and Governance, Azim Premji University.

The central objective of the conference is to review the developments in the field of Indian Constitutional Law during the year 2019.

In addition to analysing recent constitutional developments in and outside courts, the conference also aims to broadly reflect on the past, present, and future of Indian constitutionalism. An attempt will be made to attract a diverse range of viewpoints and participants from across the legal and political spectrum

This is the second edition of the Courts and the Constitution conference. The first edition was held last year, i.e. the Courts and the Constitution - 2018 in Review.

This year's conference will be held on the January 25-26, 2020, coinciding with India's 70th anniversary as a Constitutional Republic. The event will take place at the NALSAR’s campus in Hyderabad.
