SGT University wins BL Purohit Memorial National Moot Court Competition

The moot was held at Faculty of Law, Jai Narain Vyas University, Jodhpur.

Shree Guru Gobind Singh Tricentenary University (SGT University), Gurugram won the BL Purohit Memorial National Moot Court Competition 2025 held from March 21-23.

The winning team comprised Chailsi Singh, Samridhi Sood and Yash Bhardwaj of SGT University.

The team from Christ University, Bangalore, comprising Saurav Dwivedi, Souvagyo Banerjee and Akshat Mishra was declared as the runner-up.

Best Speaker was awarded to H Dilip Krishna from BMS College of Law, Bangalore.

Best Memorial was awarded to the team from Mohanlal Sukhadia University, Udaipur. Best Researcher was awarded to Aditya Kishore from Chanakya National Law University (CNLU), Patna.

The moot problem dealt with the menace of deepfake videos causing unrest in the general public and a secession demand by a minority community.
