Bar & Bench

Over the last two years, we have built a network of Campus Ambassadors across more than fifty law schools all over India. These law students have been providing us with information on campus events and activities, and also sharing legal articles.

This series of interviews is meant to turn the spotlight on these hardworking and dedicated individuals.

In this edition, we speak with Abhilasha Rai, a fourth-year student at the UPES School of Law in Dehradun.

Why did you choose to study law?

I choose to study law because I find law a very interesting subject. It covers a wide range of areas and is dynamic in nature.

What made you apply for the Campus Ambassador post at Bar & Bench?

During my online internships, I got familiar with the field of legal journalism as part of my research work and this provoked an interest in the field of legal journalism for me.

The opportunities given to a Campus Ambassador will provide me with a great platform to showcase my talent simultaneously meeting the organizational goals.

What are your plans after completing law?

I plan on joining a law firm.
