The Dr Rajendra Prasad National Law University, Prayagraj (RPNLU) and the National Law University, Delhi (NLU Delhi) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to foster scholarship, intellectual and research capacity building.

The MoU was signed by Vice-Chancellor of RPNLU, Senior Prof (Dr) Usha Tandon and Vice-Chancellor of NLU Delhi, Prof (Dr) GS Bajpai.

This collaboration aims to develop research-oriented initiatives, encourage knowledge exchange, and enhance academic engagement between the two universities. Through this MoU, NLU, Prayagraj and NLU Delhi will undertake joint research projects on contemporary legal issues, organize seminars, conferences, and workshops, and foster dialogue among legal scholars, students, and practitioners.

The collaboration also extends to faculty and enables researcher exchange programs, allowing scholars from both institutions to share expertise and contribute to cutting-edge legal discourse.

Additionally, the MoU will support research scholarships and academic training programs, providing students with valuable opportunities to engage in rigorous legal studies and research.

Speaking on the occasion, Senior Prof (Dr) Usha Tandon emphasized the significance of inter-institutional collaboration in legal academia, highlighting how the initiative can enrich the RPNLU research ecosystem and create new avenues for scholarly engagement.

She expressed confidence that this partnership would contribute meaningfully to the development of legal scholarship in India.

With this MoU, RPNLU has sought to reaffirm its commitment to promoting high-quality legal education and research, paving the way for a more collaborative academic environment in the field of law.

With the same objective, RPNLU Prayagraj had earlier signed an MoU with NLU Mumbai, NLU Goa, and the Institute of Constitutional and Parliamentary Studies (ICPS).
