
National Academy of Legal Studies and Research (NALSAR), Hyderabad and generative artificial intelligence (Gen AI) legal tech startup, Webnyay.ai have collaborated to provide legal services to courts, tribunals, government departments and practising arbitrators across India.
The collaboration aims to enhance efficiency and access to justice by providing Gen AI tools for legal research and analysis.
NALSAR and Webnyay have also established the NALSAR University of Law Centre for Economic, Legal, and Policy Services. The Centre will offer training programs and workshops to various stakeholders on effectively utilising AI applications in their daily tasks related to law, economics and policy.
It will also provide mediation services across India and partner with courts and tribunals to resolve disputes through pre-litigation mediation. NALSAR University will be engaging in discourse on legal and policy challenges associated with responsible AI through newsletters, journals and digital platforms.
